There are so many different carriers out there for your little ones. One thing I like about the Baby K'tan carrier is that it really does support wearing your baby and having that special bond with it. It is a one-piece carrier that in my sense acts like these Moby wraps, but they have made it so much simpler and so easy with their two-ring design. It takes you about three seconds to get into this wrap versus the five minutes it must take to get into the Moby wrap. The other thing about it is that it allows you to have a cradle mode, it holds the baby up really high so that you can see the baby -- make sure the baby is safe, that the baby can see you -- and you have so many other positions: inward facing, outward facing, on the back, on the side; it really grows with the child, and you never really outgrow it. You can use it the day the baby comes home, until the baby no longer wants to be in your arms.
About Baby K'tan
"The Baby K'tan® Baby Carrier (patent pending) is a uniquely designed soft cotton carrier. It can be worn in all the same positions as a wrap, without the hassle of wrapping! The K'tan is made of two loops of cotton which are connected by a third smaller loop called the Back Support Band. This ergonomic and stylish design allows the carrier to be worn in multiple positions, all without any complicated wrapping or buckling. It is a cross between a sling and a structured front baby carrier, offering the positions and benefits of both! The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier is sized according to the wearer and is available in 5 basic t-shirt sizes: XS-XL...The Baby K'tan offers unparalleled comfort, safety, and convenience and comes in hip neutral colors."
