I love Bebe Au Lait/Hooter Hiders because they really allow for mothers to feel comfortable with breast-feeding in public. They really are a great line of nursing covers. There are a lot of nursing covers out there, but they were one of the first to use really cool patterns - things that didn’t really relate to the baby, but definitely related to the mother.
The really great thing about Bebe Au Lait is the boning in their nursing covers. This allows you to look at the child, see how they’re latching on, make eye contact with the child and just make the nursing experience better. Unlike trying to drape a blanket over you that a baby can kick off, or where you can’t look at your child.
The Bebe Au Lait nursing covers are wonderful for that. It also allows you a sense of privacy and modesty when you are out in public, or even at home sometimes when you just don’t want to expose yourself to everybody. It’s not as if we’re afraid to nurse in public, but it just allows for a little more diplomacy in public.
