Newport Cottages is a wonderful line of American-made furniture. And in these days, you just can't find a lot of that. The furniture has a weight to it, and a density that is really nice to have that you just don't see as often these days.
This furniture is bench-made, which means that someone starts from scratch and the same person finishes the furniture. It has a hand-made look to it so you kind of know someone whittled away and pulled it together. I love the flexibility of it.
You can customize it, change it, add, or delete -- you can make it really girly, or really and truly modern. The colors you can use with them are just lovely -- really giving you the option to go out of the box. The other thing I love about Newport Cottages is their
drawers - their drawers have full-extension metal glides, which is beautiful. The drawer comes completely out of the case so that you can really get to the back -- and the nooks and crannies that you normally can't access with other companies.

is an art form seldom used by most furniture manufacturers.
We use select domestic hardwoods and manufacture our furniture in the USA. Hand rubbed finish is carefully applied to each piece before it is inspected by one of our quality control team members.
